  • Incredible Place

Incredible setting at the top of the world. Great views, great staff and food, excellent rhino game drive. I loved the accommodation. A definite bucket list spot. The game drive is long and very bumpy but probably the best we did in Namibia real wildlife seen especially the rhinos on foot

  • Lovely Place

Proper drive up the escarpment, tests your 4X4 driving skills ! It’s the start of the fun. The post card views from the pool are so unreal. Drove for the pool picture , wasn’t disappointed. The staff were great , friendly and hospitable. Would love to see it in the rainy season

Grootberg Lodge impact highlights

The lodge is a landmark in the Namibian tourism industry as they contribute to communities with the profit they generate: The lodge does not only provide employment opportunities to the people in the surrounding areas, they also help reduce the human-wildlife conflict. The lodge also supports other conservancy’s projects. They do this by buying vegetables from the local farmers, by financing an education fund and by collecting waste to minimise pollution in the area.
