Morukuru Ocean House impact highlights
Conservation and contributing to the development of local communities is key to Morukuru Family. Both Morukuru Ocean House and Morukuru Beach Lodge have been built in an environemntally friendly way, operating fully off-grid, using a combination of solar power and pellet burners only for electricity and hot water supply. Over the years Morukuru Family have invested in nature conservation in De Hoop in numerous ways, including alien species removal employing staff from the local community, to protect and preserve the fragile fynbos eco-system.
