Thornybush Game Reserve

Thornybush Game Reserve is a private nature reserve that shares a fenceless border with the well-liked Kruger National Park in South Africa. Close encounters with the Big 5 are the most amazing experiences for Thorny Bush guests, with visitors especially always very pleased with the lion and leopard sightings. Thorny Bush is one the best Safari destinations i South Africa and this is due to its large and amazing diversity of wildlife.
With a touch of sophistication in the lodge's design and layout, the thatched main area overlooks a waterhole and riverbed regularly visited by elephants, buffalo and other large game at the Thornybush Lodge. The classic lower deck flows between the open dining area and a beautiful bar.

Tasteful Elegance
We spent a very lovely 2 night stay at Thornybush Game Lodge. It was a tasteful elegance despite its large size. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed our time with Tracey our ranger. The food was delicious and sighting galore.
Thornybush Game Reserve impact highlights
Thornybush Game Lodge creates out-of-the-ordinary safari experiences for their guests, while also developing the lives of their staff and the well-being of the surrounding communities. In 2005, Thornybush created Thornybush Community Project with the aim of contributing positively towards the lives of the local community members as well as developing the community in any way possible. Today the focus areas (local communities) have grown so much; the project is now a contributor in both the NPO sector and a supporter of different community initiatives.
