Settled on the edges of the Otjovasandu River in Namibia's north-western parts, Hobatere Lodge promises uniquely Namibian experiences. Hobatere Lodge has a private airstrip that makes it very easy for guests who don't want to spend hours on the roads. The lodge is located on the western side of Etosha National Park, and because of this it is known as 'little Etosha'. Hobatere is rich in game species and is also one of the ideal paces to be for birdwatchers.

I want to go back!

Hobatere was my favorite lodge on my Namibia trip: quiet, down to earth, great service and food and you get to observe all the wildlife at the waterhole in front of the lodge. Don’t miss the game drive with Samuel!

Refreshing

Our stay this November was very nice. We had a relaxed afternoon by the pool while being watched by a male lion which hung out just outside the fence. The father of seven cubs was the main attraction that afternoon. Still our stay was very relaxing, we had a delicious dinner and the night drive was fantastic

Loved Everything

You feel very welcome - with a welcome drink. Patio with view on waterhole. Good place to stay for a few days to relax. Dinners are well prepaired and very tasty. Strick adherance to COVID-policy. Rooms are very clean, supplied with insect repellent to keep the insects away. Musquito nets in all the rooms.
