Accommodation Description

Gondwana Omarunga Epupa-Falls Campsite offers tranquil camping under ancient palm trees on the banks of the Kunene River in northern Namibia. This idyllic location provides a scenic and immersive nature experience just steps away from the remarkable Epupa Falls.

The campsite offers 10 spacious, well-maintained sites with a rustic charm that accommodates up to six guests per site. Each campsite includes a fire pit, power points and access to shared well-kept ablution facilities. Guests have additional amenities such as a thatched laundry area, a restaurant serving delicious meals, and a well-stocked bar.

Setting Description 

Hidden beneath towering Makalani palms and set along the river’s edge, the campsite offers a picturesque, serene environment. Located in close proximity to Epupa Falls, it features breathtaking views of the gorge and the Kunene River, where lush greenery contrasts the north Namibian landscape.

Guided tours to nearby Himba villages provide cultural insight and a chance to connect with local heritage. For nature enthusiasts, guided birdwatching trails reveal a diverse array of species unique to this riverine ecosystem.
