Beautifully built on either side of the curving Great Fish River in the Eastern Cape, Kwandwe Private Game Reserve is a spectacular escape offering a scenic landscape rich in flora and fauna. It’s here where Melton Manor, a chic and contemporary safari villa, offers guests relaxed and comfortable family living in the African bush.
A welcoming, contemporary space, based around a central courtyard and inviting swimming pool, Melton Manor is about the sharing of meals, laughter and experiences. Looking out over the Afromontane forests and hills beyond, the four beautiful bedrooms and a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces are ideal for slowing down and relaxing.
Known for the best guiding, understated luxury and an abundance of animals and wildlife that call the reserve home, Kwandwe Private Game Reserve offers a range of safari activities and accommodation options to curate the ultimate safari. Guests seeking a private, exclusive safari experience will be in their element at Melton Manor.
With a private vehicle, ranger and tracker, any Melton Manor itinerary is completely flexible. Explore the reserve on daily game drives, nature walks, big game walking safaris (tracking white rhino, black rhino, elephant and buffalo on foot) and fishing. Then, spend the afternoon hours in the library with a good book, relaxing around the pool or enjoying the garden.

Wonderful Stay
Our entire Kwandwe experience was next to none! We are a family of 8 (including significant others) and it was everyone’s first time to South Africa. Melton Manor was our first stay and remained the best stay/experience throughout the rest of our trip

Gorgeous!
I have travelled to some amazing properties around the world but this was something else! Melton Manor is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are beautiful, the bathrooms spacious and airy. The staff were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble.
