Situated adjacent to the expansive 23,000-hectare Manyeleti Game Reserve in the Greater Kruger region, Kruger Safari Lodge is a glamping escape that seamlessly blends into the natural surroundings. The camp boasts open boundaries connecting to both the renowned Kruger National Park and the Sabi-Sand Private Game Reserve, making it an ideal setting for an extraordinary safari adventure. The intimate Kruger Safari Lodge comprises only 14 safari-style canvas tents, each thoughtfully positioned for utmost privacy and to maximise appreciation of the surrounding natural beauty. Each tented suite is equipped with cosy twin beds, air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom, and a spacious lounge area, while the main lodge area is host to a dining area, bar, viewing deck and swimming pool for cooling down in the summer heat.
Considered one of the largest and oldest safari areas in South Africa, The Greater Kruger region is made up of Kruger National Park, Sabi Sands, and Manyeleti, as well as the surrounding private game reserves. The entire area is one of the best places to view wildlife, experience guided walks and explore some of the wildest areas in the country.

Great Experience
Very friendly staff. Location just outside Manyeleti (through the park to the lodge is a nice route) Delicious food. Nice pool. Nice location of the rooms/tents.

Very Unique Experience
Unique experience sleeping in a tent immersed in nature. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Pool and game drive both to try!!

From Johannesburg or Pretoria
From Johannesburg, take the N12 East in the direction of Witbank
From Pretoria, take the N4 East in the direction of Witbank
As you pass Witbank continue east towards Belfast
At the Belfast sign turn left off the N4 and continue through the town
At the 2nd traffic light turn right on the R540 and drive towards Dullstroom for 36km
Pass through Dullstroom and drive 57km towards Lydenburg
At Lydenburg the R540 becomes the R36, continue on the R36 for 52km towards Orighstad
Pass through Orighstad on the R36 and drive towards the Abel Erasmus Pass
Below the Pass proceed through the J.G. Strydom tunnel
Continue on the R531 for 30km towards Klaserie (ignore the turnoff to Hoedspruit)
At the Orpen sign turn left towards the Orpen Gate and drive for 33km
Pass the South African Wildlife College on your left and just further on you will see the Manyeleti Game Reserve Tintswalo, Honeyguide and Pungwe signs, turn right here
Drive on for 200m to the Manyeleti entrance gate where you will need to pay a nominal entrance fee. Once in the reserve follow the main road towards Main Camp.
When you see main camp on your right, just follow the road and continue straight at the circle past the main camp entrance gate.
Continue on this road till you reach the Manyeleti Main Gate.
As you exit the gate, the entrance to Kruger Safari Lodge is on your righthand side.

From Nelspruit / Hazyview
Take the R40 heading northwards in the direction of Hoedspruit/Phalaborwa for approximately 70km and the turn right onto the R531 towards the Orpen Gate.
Pass the South African Wildlife College on your left and just further on you will see the Manyeleti Game Reserve Tintswalo, Honeyguide and Pungwe signs, turn right here
Proceed on for 200 meters to the Manyeleti entrance gate where a nominal entrance fee is payable. Once in the reserve follow the main road towards Main Camp.
When you see main camp on your right, just follow the road and continue straight at the circle past the main camp entrance gate.
Continue on this road till you reach the Manyeleti Main Gate.
