Wonderful experience at the restaurant. The estate is stunning - lovely gardens and landscaping. The beautiful chpaael is an incredible architectural feature of Bosjes. The service was fantastic and the food was divine. Our stay was everything and more - we can’t wait to go back!

Bosjes aims to create awareness about nature during farm visits. Their philosophy is to construct buildings that harmonize with nature. Designers, including architects and landscapers, are instructed to treat nature kindly. They integrate underground structures for temperature control and use water-efficient native plants. Bosjes believes in unity with nature, not competition. Their conservation and sustainability efforts have expanded, including biodegradable packaging, 'Healing Earth' beauty products, composting restaurant waste, clearing alien vegetation, restoring Renosterveld, maintaining recreational dams, managing wildlife, and a solar farm for all electricity needs.
Through these sustainable practices, Bosjes reduces its ecological footprint and fosters harmony with the environment. They continually assess and improve sustainability, aiming for a positive impact on the environment and community. In terms of hospitality, they've grown from 15 to 70 local employees since 2017. On the conservation front, a security guard has become a guide with extensive training, including birding courses and a Grootbos Nature Reserve internship.
