Tula Retreat is a tranquil getaway situated on the water's edge of the Calitzdorp dam in the Western Cape. Completely private and secluded, this hideaway offers quality accommodation ideal for a couple or pair of friends seeking to be the only guests at the establishment.
The off-grid self-catering glamping unit sleeps just 2 guests in a luxurious king-size XL bed and features an en-suite bathroom with a bath opening up to a patio with breathtaking views, and an outdoor shower. The open-plan living area features a comfortable couch with a fireplace, overlooking the beautiful natural surroundings where guests can relax in a wood-fired hot tub.
In the heart of the Little Karoo region, Tula Retreat is surrounded by untouched natural beauty and rolling hills near the small village of Calitzdorp. Perched on the edge of the dam, guests have access to a private slipway should you want to bring a boat (skiing and jetskiing are permitted on the dam). Boat cruises are charged at R200 per person and can be booked upon arrival, while a two-seater canoe is available for guests to use. Yellowfish fishing is allowed.
Tula Retreat is more than just a place; it's a sanctuary of conscious living and sustainable practices. Awake to the crisp, clean air of the surrounding valley, abundant with Spekboom and a tranquil ambience, as you enjoy
