Accommodation Description

Tula Retreat is a secluded off-grid sanctuary perched on the edge of the Calitzdorp Dam in the Little Karoo. Designed for adventurous travellers seeking tranquillity and exclusivity, the retreat hosts up to four guests who have the entire property to themselves. The Jala Luxury Tent offers a king-size XL bed, an en-suite bathroom with a freestanding bath overlooking the dam, an outdoor shower, and a cosy lounge with a fireplace and kitchenette. Outside, a private wood-fired hot tub invites stargazing and deep relaxation, all completely off-grid and free from Wi-Fi or electricity. The Vayu Vintage Caravan, a restored classic, provides an additional double bed and sits near the open-air bush kitchen, equipped with a gas stove, oven, fridge, and firepit. Solar power points and limited Wi-Fi are available here, along with daily wood and firelighters. Guests can self-cater or pre-order locally prepared “Skof-Tin” meals for collection in Calitzdorp.
