About Wechmarshof
Wechmarshof is a tranquil retreat and working farm situated at the base of the Simonsberg Mountain Range in the beautiful Banhoek Valley of Stellenbosch in the Western Cape. The accommodation provides spacious and comfortable self-catering units that are ideally suited for families or groups of friends.
The farm features two houses: House Balderjan, accommodating 8 guests with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and House Num Num, accommodating 4 guests with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Each unit includes a garden, patio with lake views, a terrace with mountain views, a swimming pool, spacious living areas and a fully equipped kitchen.

Wechmarshof strives to create and maintain a space that is one with nature and offers a unique and enjoyable experience for guests, and is situated just outside the charming Winelands town of Stellenbosch in the Banhoek Valley – 14 km from Jonkershoek Nature Reserve.
The Banhoek Valley is known for its picturesque views, top wine estates and a variety of restaurants, while Wechmarshof istelf has an abundance of indigenous trees and plants that attract a large variety of birds and wildlife, including springbok, steenbok, porcupine, lynx, mongoose, Cape genet and other smaller species.

Absolutely spectacular!! Mountains, luxury living, friendly staff. All the famous wine farms and and mountain trials around you. Sitting in the porch and see the Springboks in the garden, sipping wine in front of the fire....what more could you want.

A wonderful place to rest. Beautiful location, buildings incorporated into the landscape, surrounded by well-designed greenery, antelopes walking in the garden, birds singing - it all was delightful.
