Greyton Cycling and Culinary Experience

What to expect from Greyton Cycling and Culinary Experience

Explore exciting MTB and E-bike trails, and savour unforgettable culinary and wine experiences in and around charming Greyton village in the Overberg region of the Western Cape. There is a selection of 6N7D / 3N4D / 2N3D MTB Gravel and Single Track Experiences, where you get to choose your trails from a list of seven routes, in and around the village of Greyton and the Cape Fold mountains, as far as Riviersonderend. Explore the Western Cape's stunning and lesser-known Overberg region, a hidden gem in the heart of the Cape Floral Kingdom.

The Overberg region boasts over 9,000 plant species, predominantly fynbos, that offer a unique and diverse display of beauty from the mountains to the shores. This area is home to South Africa's national flower, the protea, and the name "fynbos" comes from the Dutch word "fijnosch," meaning "fine bush." Buchus fynbos diversity is the highest in the Overberg region, with each species emitting a distinct fragrance ranging from citrus to liquorice and garlic, noticeable in the air.
