This off-grid, solar-powered home offers spacious, self-catering accommodation for up to six guests. The open-plan living area is flooded with natural light, featuring floor-to-ceiling glass doors that frame the ocean beyond. The interiors are minimal yet warm, with polished concrete floors, wooden details, and a fireplace for cooler evenings. The house includes three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and both indoor and outdoor dining spaces, including a sheltered braai area.

The area is ideal for long beach walks, whale and dolphin spotting, and simply soaking up the wild charm of the Cape’s southern coast. With no shops, restaurants or busy roads in the immediate vicinity, Boggoms Bay offers a rare sense of seclusion while still being within easy reach of Mossel Bay and the greater Garden Route.

Boggomsbaai is a coastal holiday village in Mossel Bay Municipality in the Western Cape province of South Africa.
The small village is proud of the long strip of golden beach that stretches for miles along which one can walk for hours without coming across another person, and the access to bird life, particularly oystercatchers, is notable. This stretch of coastline features the Oyster Catcher trail, a popular five-day slackpacker trail that needs booking months in advance, for it is highly regarded around the world for its coastal views and biodiversity.
Down on the beach, the sands are devoid of litter, and vehicles are supposed to stay off the sand. If you happen here between July and November, you can spot the southern right whale just offshore.
