A natural gem in the Waterberg. Beautiful private setting where you become one with nature. The natural pool was a bonus. No camp lights and no noise makes it possible to appreciate nature as it's meant to be

Very well equipped, tidy accommodation. Incredibly peaceful place. Accommodation was particularly neat. Nicole was very helpful. Definitely the destination to recharge your batteries again

FROM PRETORIA
Take the N1 towards Polokwane, from Pretoria and travel 128 km's. At the Kranskop toll plaza, take the Modimolle exit. Turn left on the bridge and travel towards Modimolle.
Keep straight towards Modimolle continuing on the R33. Pass straight through Modimolle's main street and continue for 44 km's north of Modimolle towards Vaalwater.
Sign board shows directions to turn right to Shondoro Mountain Retreat after 44 km's. Follow the gravel road for 4,5 km's, turn to the left and continue for another 1,2 km's.
Enter through the gate, follow the signs and enter into Shondoro. Follow directions to the Cottages.
FROM POLOKWANE:
Take the N1 South. 61 km's after the Nyl Plaza, take the Modimolle offramp to the R101. Continue 16 km's and enter Modimolle. At the second traffic light, turn right towards Vaalwater (R33) in Nelson Mandela Drive. Continue 44 km's on the R33 past Koro Creek.
Sign board shows directions to turn right to Shondoro Mountain Retreat after 44 km's. Follow the gravel road for 4 km's, turn to the left and continue for another 1,2 km's.
Enter through the gate, follow the signs and enter into Shondoro. Follow directions to the Cottages.
