Conservio (Pty) Ltd ("Conservio") issues digital gift vouchers ("Voucher") that may be redeemed for accommodation bookings listed on conservio.com.
Vouchers are sold online and delivered electronically to the purchaser or nominated recipient. Proof of purchase must be retained.
Each Voucher must be redeemed in a single booking transaction.
Vouchers cannot be split across multiple bookings.
The Voucher value is applied at checkout on conservio.com.
If the total booking value is less than the Voucher value, the remaining balance is not forfeited.
Any unused balance will be re-issued as a new Conservio Voucher for the remaining amount and provided to the customer electronically.
Conservio does not write off unused voucher balances.
Vouchers are valid for 36 months from date of purchase, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
Any expiry period is clearly disclosed to the customer before purchase, in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
Where a Voucher expires, the customer retains the right to request the unused monetary value in accordance with applicable law.
Vouchers are not refundable for cash except where required by the Consumer Protection Act.
If a booking made using a Voucher is cancelled, the refunded amount is returned as a Conservio Voucher, subject to the accommodation provider's cancellation policy.
Vouchers may be transferred to another person but may not be resold for commercial purposes.
Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash or exchanged for other vouchers.
All bookings remain subject to the individual accommodation provider's terms, house rules, availability, and pricing.
Conservio acts as an intermediary and is not responsible for services rendered by accommodation providers.
Conservio reserves the right to cancel or suspend a Voucher where fraud, abuse, or unlawful activity is suspected.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008.
