Duke’s East is located on a remote island in the northern Okavango Delta, surrounded by a striking blend of floodplains, woodland and seasonal waterways. The camp overlooks a lagoon that attracts wildlife throughout the day, creating exceptional opportunities to observe elephants, antelope, hippo and predators from the comfort of camp. This part of the Delta is known for its dynamic landscape: when the waters rise, the channels fill with life and water-based excursions become possible; when they recede, the plains open up for expansive game drives and walking safaris. The surrounding private concession is vast and lightly traversed, offering a true sense of wilderness with minimal vehicle traffic.
