Accommodation Description

Little Sable offers eight elevated Meru-style tents positioned with widescreen views over open grasslands. Each tent is spacious and comfortable, featuring king or twin beds, an ensuite bathroom with both indoor and outdoor showers, and a private veranda ideal for wildlife watching. The camp’s main area includes a welcoming lounge, a dining space, and bar set beneath a thatched roof, along with a pool and a raised viewing deck. A sunken lounge and firepit provide relaxed spaces to gather before or after safari drives. The style is understated and authentic, offering a classic safari atmosphere with warm hospitality and an emphasis on simplicity, comfort, and connection to the landscape.

Setting Description

Set within the vast Khwai Private Reserve in the greater Okavango Delta, Little Sable sits among floodplains, woodlands, and open savannah that shift with the seasonal arrival of the Delta waters. The area is exceptionally rich in wildlife, with elephants, predators, antelope species, and abundant birdlife commonly sighted. During the flood season, waterways open for mokoro and boating excursions, offering a tranquil contrast to land-based game drives. The reserve is sparsely trafficked, giving guests a sense of true wilderness and uninterrupted exploration. Its location places travellers in a diverse ecosystem where each outing reveals new scenery, from golden grasslands to shimmering wetlands.
