Tawana offers eight expansive luxury suites (including three family suites) set amidst riverine forest on the banks of the Gomoti River. Each suite features a separate lounge, ensuite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers and deep-soaking bath, and opens onto a private deck with an outdoor sala and plunge-pool. Interiors reflect organic tones, generous space and refined comfort while large sliding doors allow the wild world in. Communal areas include an open-sided lounge and bar, wine cellar, wood-fired pizza oven, 16-metre lap pool and gym. Children aged six years and above are welcome.
Setting Description
Set in the south-eastern sector of Moremi Game Reserve, Tawana occupies a unique riverside position along the permanent waters of the Gomoti River — a magnet for wildlife year-round. The unfenced wilderness concession allows herds of buffalo, red lechwe, elephant and predator packs of lion, leopard and African wild dog to roam freely near camp. The riverine forest, floodplains and deep shade of ebony and sausage trees frame the experience, and the remoteness ensures a sense of true escape. Seasonal change brings exhilarating contrasts — lush green after rains, game concentrated in dry months — making every visit distinct.
