Chobe Water Villas is an all-inclusive boutique lodge set within Namibia's 150 km² Kasika Conservancy, on the banks of the Chobe River. Sixteen luxury villas are elevated on stilts directly over the water, each offering uninterrupted 180-degree views across the river, Sedudu Island, and Chobe National Park in Botswana. Each 85 m² villa features an open-plan lounge and bedroom with floor-to-ceiling glass doors that fold back completely onto a private front terrace with sun loungers and a built-in daybed. The en-suite bathroom includes both a bath and shower, with double vanity. A fully stocked minibar, WiFi, evening breeze cooling system, binoculars, tea and coffee station, safe, and an art easel complete the villa experience. The lodge hosts a maximum of 32 guests, creating an intimate atmosphere complemented by world-class dining at The African Boma, an infinity pool, Haven Spa, gym, fire-pit conversation areas, and a sundowner deck — all positioned to face the river.
Chobe Water Villas occupies a genuinely extraordinary position at the confluence of the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers, where the borders of Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, and Zimbabwe converge. The surrounding Kasika Conservancy supports one of Africa's highest wildlife densities — elephant, buffalo, hippo, lion, crocodile, and giraffe are regularly sighted from the villas themselves. Chobe National Park, just a 15-minute boat transfer away, is home to an estimated 50,000 elephants and over 160 mammal species. The Zambezi Region's extensive wetlands and riverine forests attract over 50 bird species recorded at the lodge alone. The broader Kavango Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area spans four countries and four national parks, making this one of southern Africa's most significant wildlife corridors. Access to the lodge is exclusively by safari boat from Kasane, Botswana — an experience in itself as elephant, buffalo, and hippo are frequently encountered on the crossing.
