Accommodation Description

Gondwana Namushasha River Campsite offers serene waterside camping, surrounded by flowing reeds and lush vegetation, in the Zambezi region of Namibia. This tranquil setting allows visitors to unwind under the shade of trees, while enjoying the sounds of the river.

The campsite features six private sites along the Kwando section of the Zambezi River, each equipped with private ablution facilities, power points, and ample space for up to six people. Guests can enjoy full access to lodge amenities such as the swimming pool and restaurant.

Setting Description 

Set on the grassy banks of the Kwando River, leading into the Zambezi, the campsite is shaded by large trees and bordered by rich vegetation. The peaceful surroundings make it an ideal spot for nature lovers, with an abundance of wildlife and birdlife in the area.

Activities at the Namushasha River Campsite include exciting game drives into Bwabwata National Park, scenic boat cruises at sunrise or sunset, and guided fishing trips on the river. Guests can also relax by the lodge’s swimming pool or enjoy a delicious meal at the Namushasha River Lodge Restaurant.
