Hobatere Lodge's main area and chalets have thatched roofs, which helps in cooling the rooms even during the hottest summer months of Namibia. The lodge has six homely and modern chalets (Rondawels) next to bungalows making sure that guests are having the most pleasant stay. This gives guests a feeling of having a second home in the wild as the chalets are equipped with all facilities needed for a comfortable stay.
The entire lodge is powered by solar panels. Therefore, there are no sockets for electrical kettles. However, hot water flasks are available for guests to enjoy their morning tea or coffee while enjoying the beautiful views of the natural surroundings.

Hobatere was my favorite lodge on my Namibia trip: quiet, down to earth, great service and food and you get to observe all the wildlife at the waterhole in front of the lodge. Don’t miss the game drive with Samuel!

Our stay this November was very nice. We had a relaxed afternoon by the pool while being watched by a male lion which hung out just outside the fence. The father of seven cubs was the main attraction that afternoon. Still our stay was very relaxing, we had a delicious dinner and the night drive was fantastic

You feel very welcome - with a welcome drink. Patio with view on waterhole. Good place to stay for a few days to relax. Dinners are well prepaired and very tasty. Strick adherance to COVID-policy. Rooms are very clean, supplied with insect repellent to keep the insects away. Musquito nets in all the rooms.
