Kwessi Dunes is located in the heart of Namibia’s stunning NamibRand Nature Reserve, a huge desert wilderness of more than 200,000 hectares. With the reserve's wide desert plains and backdrop of rocky mountains and stunning red dunes, this is a destinantion where time seems to stand still and the space is never-ending. Here, it’s not about chasing big game but rather appreciating the stunning colourful landscape, admiring the antelope that scatter the sand, and watchinh the stars that light up the night sky.

Kwessi Dunes has 12 cool and homely chalets with air conditioner, stylish canvas walls and thached roofs that help keep the chalets cooler during hot summer days and warmer during cold winter days. Each bedroom has a separate ‘star gazer’ room, completely open to the sky, and the perfect place from which to watch the celestial theatre show above. You get clear views of the wide desert vistas from the rooms, the main area and the swimming pool. Guests also have the opportunity to enjoy quad biking, scenic drives and walks, hot air ballooning, helicopter flights, horse riding and day trips to Sossusvlei.
