The six guest tents in Hoanib Valley seamlessly integrate with the rugged landscape, mirroring the hues, textures, and designs inspired by the Hoanib experience itself. The palette draws from the dunes' vivid ochre tones, the Himba people's intricate geometric motifs, and, of course, the majestic giraffes that served as the muse for this project.

In keeping with Natural Selection's core principles, we've prioritized local sourcing of materials. You'll discover furniture crafted by skilled Rundu carpenters and Himba artisans, alongside beautifully woven baskets created by the talented individuals of the Omba Project in Windhoek.

Our entire camp operates in harmony with its environment, leaving an almost imperceptible impact on this delicate ecosystem. Powered entirely by solar energy to minimize carbon emissions, the tents rest upon decks constructed from a blend of wood, bamboo, and a composite material incorporating 70% recycled content.
