  • Fabulous Place & Service

Stunning setting, an extremely warm welcome from the owners, very professional well trained staff, comfortable clean accommodation, great food - what's not to like about this great place. Genuine low-impact palce apparently in good and close cooperation with the local community

  • Amazing Stay

This should definitely be on your bucket list while visiting Namibia. We loved the stunning sceneries and the professional team. The walk is not that difficult, I wished to walk a little bit more. Overall an unforgetable experience. Would definitely go back!

Etendeka Mountain Camp impact highlights

Etendeka Mountain Camp has been running for more than 2 decades and in February 2012  Etendeka Lodge Company signed an agreement with the Omatendeka and Anabeb Conservancies for the lease of the concession and the rental of fixed assets that belong to the conservancies. All of this was done to ensure that the communities involved benefit from the lodge fairly. Etendeka Mountain Camp and the conservancies support AfriCat North, an action to conserve Namibia's wild lion populations by training and educating communities who are being impacted and encouraging adapted livestock management. This also is a way of skills development as the people who benefit from these educational trainings can get jobs within the tourism industry or better yet start their own thing on the side.
