A luxury safari
This place is truly amazing the staff were great and so friendly from the moment we left. We had drinks waiting for us upon arrival of each safari, we had a bath run for us every time we came back from the afternoon safari. Bliss!

Tucked away discreetly at the top end of an open valley, each of the luxury glamping tents overlooks a wildlife watering point with expansive views. Each suite features a secluded private viewing deck with an intimate plunge pool, hot and cold air-conditioning, an atmospheric fireplace, a large oval bath, and romantic alfresco double showers, ensuring a perfect bush retreat.

Positioned within Greater Addo's Amakhala Game Reserve, Bush Lodge is surrounded by indigenous bush and open plains, offering guests an immersive experience in the African wilderness. Guests at Bush Lodge can embark on twice-daily expeditions in open 4x4 safari vehicles, providing opportunities to observe the Big 5 and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Children 12 years and older are welcome at Bush Lodge and will be charged adult per person sharing rates. Bookings with children 6+ will be considered but are solely at the owner's discretion and will be charged an adult per person sharing rate.
CONSERVATION LEVY:
All visitors - ZAR 140 per night
Children under 12 years - ZAR 70 per night
Levies are inclusive of VAT and subject to change without prior notice. This levy is included in the per person per night rate.
Check-In time is between 13h00 and 13h30, lunch is served at 14h00 for guests that arrive no later than 13h30 (dinner is at 20h00) and the game drive commences at 15h00, if guests arrive later than 14h30 they will miss the afternoon drive. Check-out is 11 am, the Nelson Mandela Bay Pass offers fantastic activities at discounted rates for guests flying out of PE late or self-drivers enjoying the Garden Route.
