Setting Description

Melton Manor looks out over Afromontane forests and distant hills, perched quietly within Kwandwe reserve. Guests arrive via Port Elizabeth (≈ 160 km) by road, charter flight, or through the reserve’s private Category 3 airstrip. Views sweep across natural forest canopy and rolling land, with nature sounds and birdlife offering constant accompaniment. Interior and exterior spaces are blended: verandas off bedrooms, large windows, and outdoor verandas provide vistas. Pool and garden areas invite relaxation after morning safari adventures. The atmosphere encourages slowing down, by spending time in the library, soaking up morning light, meals in the courtyard, all framed by the quiet of the reserve.
