Amazing stay

The place is really well maintained, the garden is exceptionally beautiful. It felt like staying with family.

The food is good and the safari was well organised with a great breakfast in the safari park. Will 100% recommend this lodge as the place to stay in this area.

How to get there

RECOMMENDED ROUTE (Do not use R336 via Motherwell) About 112km / 80 min drive from PE airport From Port Elizabeth take M4/ N2 North, past Colchester/Sundays River Mouth, in the direction of Grahamstown After about 60km you’ll reach Nanaga, where the road splits into three: N10, N2 and R72 – (Tip: Make a stop at the Nanaga Farm Stall – one of South Africa’s most famous farm stalls, well known for their legendary pies and roosterbrood) Continue northwards on the N10 for 21 km to Paterson At Paterson turn onto the R342 in the direction of Addo. (Tip: A large section of this road has the Elephant National Park on either side – big game can often be seen) Continue for 23km and pass the main entrance to Addo Elephant National Park on your left Continue for a further 8 km (the road is now called the R335) Turn right off the R335 at the Elephant House / Lenmore onto a gravel road and then turn immediately (40m) right again in front of Elephant House Continue for 1.2km to Woodall Country House & Spa DIRECT ROUTE About 65km / 50 min drive from PE airport From Port Elizabeth take M4 / N2 in direction of Grahamstown for ±15 km. Turn left off N2 onto R335 (sign posted Motherwell, Markman, Addo Elephant Park). Travel 40 km to Addo village. Continue through village on R335 in direction of Park for 5 km. Turn left off R335 at Woodall Sign onto a gravel road. Turn immediately right again in front of Elephant House. Continue for 1.3 km to Woodall Country House & Spa
