Zoetvlei Wildlife Estate Glamping comprises a collection of luxury tents near Addo Elephant Park in the Eastern Cape, offering an immersive escape into the heart of nature. Set within a private wildlife estate, this unique retreat combines the adventure of camping with the comforts of thoughtfully designed accommodations. Guests can wake up to the sounds of the bush, spot roaming giraffes and zebras from their doorstep, and unwind under starlit skies - all while enjoying modern conveniences.
The estate features 48 custom-designed, spacious glamping tents, each thoughtfully furnished to provide comfort while maintaining a close connection to nature. Guests can choose between tents equipped with queen-sized beds or those with two single beds. Each tent is individually situated, allowing for privacy, and is within walking distance of communal facilities. Guests have access to large communal ablution blocks that offer showers, toilets, hairdryers, power outlets, and comfortable changing areas. An outdoor coffee station, complete with a fridge, kettle, and sink, adds to the convenience.
Set within the picturesque Zoetvlei Wildlife Estate, the glamping tents are surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife. Guests share the space with giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species such as kudu, springbok, and blesbok. With no predators on the property, it is safe to explore the farm on foot at any time of day. The estate's setting allows guests to fully immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the Greater Addo region, offering a unique blend of comfort and adventure.
Zoetvlei Wildlife Estate offers a variety of activities to enhance guests' experiences. Guided game drives to the nearby Addo Elephant National Park provide an opportunity to witness these gentle giants up close. On the estate itself, guests can enjoy nature walks and mountain biking, sharing the space with resident wildlife. From Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport:
1. Head north on Airport W Rd for 49 m.
2. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Allister Miller Dr and go through 1 roundabout for 1.4 km.
3. Turn left onto Forest Hill N/B Rd for 850 m.
4. Use the left lane to turn right onto Walmer Blvd/M9 for 600 m.
5. Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto M4 (signs for R75/Grahamstown/Uitenhage) for 6.8 km.
6. Use the right 2 lanes to take exit 751B to merge onto N2 toward Grahamstown for 45.5 km.
7. Continue straight to stay on N2 for 450 m.
8. Continue onto N10 for 27 km.
9. Turn right into the entrance of Zoetvlei Wildlife Estate and drive 2.1 km to your destination.
