Kieriebos Guest Farm is located in the heart of the Vredefort Dome, about 12 kilometers outside the small town of Vredefort in the Northern Free State. This unique location provides guests with sweeping views of the African bushveld, as well as a rare opportunity to experience one of the world’s most significant natural landmarks. The Vredefort Dome is an ancient meteorite impact site that is rich in geological history, dating back over two billion years. The farm itself is a haven for bird watchers and nature enthusiasts, with diverse flora and fauna around every corner. Guests can relax and take in the stunning 180-degree views from the large outdoor deck that extends over the koppie, or enjoy the breathtaking African sunsets from the comfort of their cottage.
