During load shedding, all electricity will unfortunately be off in the cottages (WiFi, Lights, Plugs, etc). The units does have a gas stove & oven for cooking, a rechargeable lamp, as well as candles and a lamp for outside. Please use water sparingly during load shedding, so that we do not empty the tank. We profusely apologize for this inconvenience, but this is unfortunately outside of our control.

Your cottage is fully equipped for self-catering and the link above contains a list of what you need to bring along - please get supplies in Sedgefield or Knysna as there is no shop on our premises. For your convenience, we do stock wood, charcoal and firelighters that you can procure at Reception.

If you require your cottage to be serviced (excl Sunday / Public Holiday), please arrange this with Reception. The cost is R250 / day.

We only serve breakfast as the cottages are self catering. The cost is R160 / adult & R80 / child under 7. PLEASE NOTE, THESE MEALS MUST BE PRE-BOOKED AT LEAST 24Hrs BEFORE & IS NOT INCLUDED, UNLESS SPECIFIED. We've outsourced this service to our managing couple, so you need to please pay them directly upfront on arrival, for all meals booked.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT Check-in is between 15:00-20:00. Check-out is between 08:30-10:00. Early or late check-in or checkout by prior arrangement only and subject to a gate-fee of R300. The property does not cater for unannounced day visitors. PAYMENT TERMS A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation (100% if the arrival date is less than 10 days from today). The balance is due 10 days prior to arrival. If the balance is not received in good time, the property remains the right to re-sell the unit(s) without further notice. CANCELLATION POLICY (Relaxed Version) The full amount is payable in case of a cancellation or postponement of dates less than 10 days prior to arrival, no-show, early departure, discounted offers or group bookings of more than one cottage. Discounts are not applicable in case of a change of dates, reduced number of units, guests or nights. If the property is able to resell a unit, any refund will be at the property’s sole discretion.
