Perfect safari experience
The Reserve was perfect. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. There was a variety of food choices on the menu and it was delicious. The rangers were kind, knowledgeable and very personable! Our experience was wonderful!
Gondwana Game Reserve impact highlights
Formerly cattle and sheep farms, the Gondwana was chosen for its conservation value, viability to support wildlife, and desirable setting for tourism. The Gondwana Conservation Foundation (GCF) is a non profit organisation started to contribute towards the conservation of South Africa’s threatened and endangered natural vegetation and wildlife relevant to the Southern Cape of South Africa through active management, providing training and skills development of the local people of the surrounding areas of Gondwana Game Reserve. Furthermore, courses on anti- poaching are provided as this is one of the biggest issues the South African wildlife is faced with. Thus, the game reserve is working hard to mitigate such through training people who will protect the wildlife.
