Accommodation Description

Peace of Paradise is a five-bedroom, five-bathroom beachfront home in Stilbaai, offering direct access to the Indian Ocean. Built on stilts to accommodate high spring tides, the house features a spacious open-plan lounge, dining area, and kitchen, along with two lounges equipped with TVs and DSTV decoders (bring your own smartcard). The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, and ample cookware. Additional amenities include a laundry room, two full fridges, a chest freezer, and an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. The property is powered by solar panels and an inverter, ensuring an uninterrupted electricity supply.

The house accommodates up to ten guests, with bedrooms configured as follows: two with king-size beds, two with queen-size beds, and one with two single beds. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, with two featuring baths and the others equipped with showers. The property offers free Wi-Fi, secure parking, and a dedicated braai area with outdoor dining furniture. Guests can enjoy stunning ocean views from the patio and living areas.

Situated in the serene seaside village of Stilbaai, Peace of Paradise offers a tranquil retreat along the Garden Route. The property is located midway between the Goukou River mouth and the fisherman's harbour, providing easy access to both river and ocean activities. Guests can enjoy swimming, surfing, kiteboarding, stand-up paddleboarding, snorkelling, kayaking, and fishing directly from the beach. During winter months, whale watching is a popular activity from the comfort of the deck or lounge.

Stilbaai boasts a variety of attractions, including a 9-hole golf course, squash and tennis clubs, water skiing facilities, bird hides, and hiking trails. The town offers several restaurants, breakfast spots, and well-stocked grocery stores, ensuring all necessities are within reach. Nearby points of interest include the Skulpiesbaai Nature Reserve, Stilbaai Golf Club, and the Blombos Museum of Archaeology.
