Accommodation Description
Maloba Private Game Reserve offers a boutique safari experience designed for exclusivity and quiet luxury. The lodge features just a handful of suites, each thoughtfully designed to immerse guests in the surrounding bushveld. The Maloba Suites include expansive decks with private heated plunge pools, king-size beds, and both indoor and outdoor showers. The Diamond Suite elevates the experience with its own larger pool, fireplace, and uninterrupted views over the plains. Interiors combine warm wood, stone, and canvas textures with modern finishes and panoramic glass doors that open completely to the wild. With a maximum of ten guests on the property, the experience is intimate, personal and deeply connected to the landscape. Full-board dining showcases local ingredients and seasonal produce from the reserve’s own gardens and farm.
Setting Description
Stretching across 20,000 hectares of unspoiled Karoo wilderness, Maloba Private Game Reserve is a vast, private sanctuary where guests can experience the raw beauty of South Africa’s Northern Cape. The reserve’s open plains and acacia woodlands are home to an incredible diversity of wildlife, from rhino and buffalo to cheetah and giraffe. Its location near Kimberley makes it easily accessible, yet once inside, you’re enveloped by complete silence and solitude. The lodge itself is entirely off-grid, powered by solar energy and supplied with pure aquifer water, ensuring both luxury and sustainability. Nights bring astonishingly clear skies and the soft sounds of nature, creating an atmosphere that feels both remote and restorative.
