It is such an amazing and peaceful place, and we really needed a getaway. In the mornings there were duikers, hundreds of Guinea fowls, a pair of pale Chanting Goshawks by the tent! It was so refreshing.

From Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport:
1. Head north on Airport W Rd for 49 m.
2. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Allister Miller Dr and go through 1 roundabout for 1.4 km.
3. Turn left onto Forest Hill N/B Rd and continue for 850 m.
4. Use the left lane to turn right onto Walmer Blvd/M9 and drive for 600 m.
5. Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto M4 (signs for R75/Grahamstown/Uitenhage) and continue for 6.8 km.
6. Use the right 2 lanes to take exit 751B to merge onto N2 toward Grahamstown for 3.3 km.
7. Take exit 754 for M3/John Tallant Road toward R102/M19/Swartkops/Uitenhage/Port Elizabeth for 400 m.
8. Slight left toward John Tallant Rd/M3 for 86 m.
9. Continue onto John Tallant Rd/M3 for 700 m.
10. Turn right onto Grahamstown Rd/R102 and proceed for 850 m.
11. Turn left onto Trunk Rd/R367 and continue to follow R367 for 13.6 km.
12. Merge onto R75 and drive for 7.6 km.
13. Continue straight to stay on R75 for 3.2 km.
14. Keep right to stay on R75 and travel for 199 km.
15. Continue onto R63 for 23.1 km.
16. Turn left onto N9/R61 and continue for 9.0 km.
17. Turn right; the destination will be on the left at Karoo Dome after 20 minutes (20.7 km).
