nThambo Tree Camp's private chalets are raised on wooden stilts with floor made from wooden decking. Walls are made from canvas tents and the roof is thatched. Verandah facing the plains with stunning views of the Drakensberg. Each chalet sleeps 2, which creates an intimate and personal safari experience. nThambo's chalets are unique with bedrooms at eye-level with the trees, offering guests a different view from the private balconies.
The chalets have an outdoor lounge and dining area, under thatch, that gives guests beautiful and undisturbed views of the plain and small waterhole in front of camp, as well as the Drakensberg mountain range in the distance. The main area has a pool and deck with sun loungers and umbrellas - offering a refreshing spot to unwind all year round.
There's a traditional boma area with fire a place capturing the traditional bush camp safari experience. Open to the sky and surrounded by a wooden kraal, the boma is where the warm evenings are spent sharing stories of the bush.
