Perched on the hillside with spectacular views of the surrounding bush and the Drakensberg mountains in the distance, the lodge overlooks the Nhlaralumi River where free-roaming elephants and other wildlife are often seen, making for a spectacular African safari experience.
Simbavati Hilltop Lodge offers just eight luxury tented suites, each featuring spacious relaxation areas, en-suite bathrooms and expansive private decks to enjoy uninterrupted bushveld vistas. The tented suites are situated above the trees, and connected by wooden walkways to the main lodge where a view-drenched swimming pool, dining area, comfortable lounge and outdoor boma for meals under the stars await. Guests can also arrange in-room spa treatments for added relaxation.

Simbavati Hilltop is not suitable for people who have difficulty with climbing steps as each suite is accessed by a number of steps. However, two suites are considerably closer with fewer steps. So please discuss any mobility issues when booking.
The staff are incredible and they went out of their way to make our time truly memorable. Nothing was too much for them. You come as a guest and leave as a friend. The game experience was out of this world. Our tracker and ranger were more than excellent. Best animal sightings by far.
