Southern Sands Eco Lodge offers an immersive glamping experience on the banks of the Olifants River within the 1,000-hectare Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve. The lodge features two spacious, solar-powered safari tents, each accommodating up to two adults and two children. Each tent includes a king-size bed (convertible to twins), en-suite bathroom with an outdoor shower, fully equipped outdoor kitchenette, private fire pit, and a furnished deck overlooking the river. Guests can enjoy the main entertainment area, which includes a swimming pool, splash pool for children, communal braai area, and pool table. Optional meals are available upon request, and the lodge can arrange guided game drives, bush walks, and full-day tours to nearby attractions such as Kruger National Park and the Panorama Route.
Situated approximately 35 km from Hoedspruit, Southern Sands Eco Lodge is nestled in the tranquil Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve. The reserve is home to a variety of plains game, including giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, and antelope. Guests can explore the reserve through walking, running, or cycling trails, or relax by the river and enjoy the sounds of nature. The lodge's location offers easy access to the Kruger National Park, Blyde River Canyon, and other attractions in the Kruger Lowveld region.

On the R527 you will see signposts for Liverpool and Ndlovumzi Private Nature Reserve. Take this turn off which takes you onto our gravel access road.
You will now be on a gravel road for approximately 10KM.
Stay on this Gravel road until you reach the entrance gate for Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve, You will need to pay a once off R170 reserve fee (cash or card)
From the entrance, turn left & continue along this road for 200300 meters until you see the sign for Number 54.
Turn left onto our road & go straight, then over the crossroad & downhill to the bottom of our road until you get to a large double gate. Please enter the gate and follow the main path to our house.
