Home to four different unit types, the Luxury Cave, Mountain View, Garden View and Pet-Friendly cottages, Antbear Eco Lodge offers accommodations suited to all tastes and occasions. Each equipped with comfortable furnishings and surrounded by breathtaking views, guests will be able to enjoy a fuss-free stay with breakfast and dinner served in the on-site restaurant.

Setting Description

The Drakensberg Mountain Range, host to some of the highest peaks in Southern Africa, stands as one of South Africa’s most awe-inspiring natural marvels, offering a panorama of unparalleled beauty. Guests of Antbear Eco Lodge are able to enjoy an array of activities that truly showcase the beautiful surrounds, including horse trails ideally suited to beginners.

Hot air balloon flights launch from the lawn in front of the lodge, and the newest attraction is the stargazing hammock camp where the hosts tell Zulu stories of the stars. The area offers a ton of spectacular hiking trails with dramatic views and waterfalls, as well as the spectacular bushman rock art where guests are able to see some of the best examples in the world.
