The property features 13 individually styled double rooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. Gowan Valley Guest Farm is in the heart of the Natal Midlands, 4.5hrs drive from Johannesburg and just 1.5hrs from Durban. The Midlands is known as wedding capital of KZN, and as such Gowan Valley is 1.8kms from The Groves Wedding Venue, 4kms from Granny Mouse & Zunguness & 5kms from the Glades. We are 2.5kms from Michaelhouse School & also the home of the first Africamps Glamping tents in KZN. Piggly Wiggly hosts the local Park Run, just 10 mins drive & zip lining is a firm favourite in the Karkloof. Midmar Dam, the Mandela Capture site and the Junction Shopping Centre are other local attractions.
There are plenty of fun activities for the active such as golfing, mountain biking, hiking etc. and the Midlands Meander provides ample opportunity to relax, do some Meandering, enjoy some fine dining and great coffee.
On the property you can opt to swim or tube (BYO) in our river, picnic, catch Trout/Yellow Fish & Bass (BYO tackle), enjoy our indigenous forest walk, walk throughout the farm, swim in the pool, take the kiddies to our play area & breathe the clean Midlands air!

Directions from Durban
From the N3, take the Howick /Tweedie off ramp and turn left at the stop sign
Turn right at T junction onto R103, towards Nottingham Rd. Drive along this road through Lidgetton
Landmark on right Granny Mouse Hotel (2.2kms from Lidgetton)
Next Landmark Orchards/La Lampara/ Gunthers signage on your right
Continue on the tar R103 for another +/ 1km and you will see the Gowan Valley Farm sign on your right
