Accommodation Description

Hluhluwe Bush Camp Campsite offers wild camping overlooking the enchanting False Bay Park within the iSimangaliso Wetland Park of KwaZulu Natal. Simangaliso " translates to "miracle and wonder," encapsulating the essence of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park. This expansive park, South Africa's largest and first natural World Heritage site, extends from the St. Lucia Estuary to the Mozambique border, renowned as the Elephant Coast. Along its 220km pristine coastline lies endless beaches, wildlife coastal forests, and a mesmerising array of oceanic life.

Located in the heart of the bush, the secluded campsites are perfect for true adventurers. Ideal for travellers with rooftop tents, overlanders, or any dedicated camper, these sites are accessible with any vehicle. Each campsite has its own braai area, so you can grill your meat over a fire instead of a gas stove. Wake up to the sunrise, surrounded by Nyalas and other bush animals. Enjoy access to a central electricity switch box and an ablution block with shower, toilet, basin and dishwashing facilities.
