Set in the warm and friendly farming community of Underberg in KwaZulu Natal, Pennygum Country Cottages offers guests a tranquil self-catering retreat with stunning views. Pennygum is surrounded by the southern Drakensberg Mountains – a World Heritage Site – and is within walking distance of the mighty Umzimkulu River, making it a haven for adventure enthusiasts.
Featuring just four self-catering cottages, Hlogoma, Sangwana, Mvuleni and Siphongweni, guests are treated to an intimate, private getaway experience among flourishing apple orchards. Each unit is fully equipped with a spacious lounge, kitchen and shaded outdoor patio with a braai area for al fresco dinners under the stars.
