Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge is proudly associated with Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park, also known as the "home of the rhino" where it was instrumental in bringing the white rhino population in Southern Africa back from the brink of extinction. The lodge is situated on land belonging to the local Mpembeni Community which has been incorporated into the Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park; a joint venture between the community, park and a private company creating much needed employment and generating revenue for conservation through park fees and levies.
