Tucked away in the lush Georges Valley just outside Tzaneen, Waterbessiebos Cottages offer a serene forest retreat for couples, families, and nature lovers. The property features two unique self-catering wooden cottages - Waterbessiebos and Loeriebos - each thoughtfully designed to blend comfort with natural surroundings.


Waterbessiebos Cottage is an elevated open-plan wooden-frame unit that sleeps up to three guests. It includes a queen-size bed, a single bed, a private bathroom with a bath, and a kitchenette equipped with a bar fridge, microwave, toaster, and two-plate stove. Guests can relax on the private deck with a kettle braai, surrounded by indigenous trees and the soothing sounds of a nearby stream. Loeriebos Cottage accommodates up to six guests and features a main bedroom with a queen-size bed, a mezzanine floor with twin beds, and additional sleeping arrangements in the lounge area. The cottage includes a bathroom with a bath and an outdoor shower, a kitchenette with basic appliances, and a patio with outdoor dining facilities. Both cottages provide access to a splash pool, picnic spots by the stream, and opportunities to observe local wildlife such as bushbuck, suricates, genets, bushbabies, and monkeys. The property is securely fenced and offers free Wi-Fi.
