The Oak House at African Leaves Trout Lodge offers an exclusive-use countryside retreat in Dullstroom, Mpumalanga. Located within the Zuikerboschhoek Bewarea, the lodge is surrounded by pristine nature, with a river, waterfall, and diverse wildlife, including fallow deer and blesbok. Offering privacy and tranquillity, it is an ideal destination for families and groups seeking a secluded escape in a stunning setting.

The Oak House accommodates up to ten guests in five well-appointed bedrooms. The house is designed for comfort, featuring a spacious lounge with a bar, DSTV, a fireplace, and an indoor braai. A ten-seater dining room provides ample space for meals, while the fully equipped kitchen includes a gas stove, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and both gas and electric kettles. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house, and a gas stove, solar lights, and a generator ensure convenience during load shedding.

Located 26 kilometers from Dullstroom, The Oak House is one of two lodges on the African Leaves Trout Lodge estate, separated from Silo Lodge by a dam and 700 meters of open space for privacy. The landscape transforms with the seasons - lush and green in summer, crisp and golden in autumn, cool and frosty in winter, and fresh with flowing streams in spring. The ever-changing scenery and peaceful surroundings make it an ideal destination year-round.

Guests can enjoy fly fishing in the trout dam right in front of Oak House, as well as scenic walks along the river and waterfall, with opportunities to spot local wildlife. The lodge also arranges golf weekends at nearby courses and offers Mac Nab experiences in winter, which combine hunting, fishing, and shooting.
