Stone Circle Lodge is a beautifully crafted stone-and-thatch cottage built against the natural rock formations of the Houtboshoek valley. Designed for a single couple, the lodge offers complete privacy and a cosy, earthy atmosphere. The open-plan bedroom features a comfortable double bed and leads onto a private patio overlooking the surrounding bushveld.

Inside, guests have a fully equipped self-catering kitchen with a gas stove and gas fridge/freezer. Lighting is provided by LED and gas lamps, and hot water is supplied via a gas geyser. The bathroom includes both a stone-built bathtub and an outdoor shower set amid the natural surroundings. Outside, a private braai area and shaded seating space allow for relaxed al-fresco living. Wildlife including giraffe, zebra, nyala, impala and other plains game roam freely across the estate and are often seen grazing near the cottage. A mountain stream flows through the property, leading to hidden waterfalls and natural pools that guests can reach on foot. With no nearby neighbours, minimal light pollution and only the sounds of nature, evenings at Stone Circle Lodge are peaceful and atmospheric. The remote location, paired with its rocky setting and unspoiled terrain, makes it a perfect base for nature lovers seeking solitude, hiking opportunities and a true bushveld experience.
