Accommodation Description

The Log Cabin at Moonlight Meadows is a spacious, self-catering timber retreat situated on a peaceful 40-hectare farm just outside the charming town of Dullstroom. Perfect for families or small groups, the cabin comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests.

The cabin comprises four en-suite bedrooms: two with king-size beds and two with twin beds. Each bedroom has a private bathroom—two with a bath and shower, and two with a shower only. The open-plan living area includes a fully equipped kitchen with a gas hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. The lounge features a cosy indoor fireplace that doubles as a braai, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and ample seating. A large dining table seats eight guests, ideal for family meals. Outside, a covered patio with dining furniture overlooks open farmland and offers a tranquil space to relax. The property is also fitted with a battery backup system to ensure comfort during load-shedding.

Surrounded by the rolling hills of the Highlands Meander, the Log Cabin offers a peaceful setting with sweeping views of the countryside. Guests can enjoy quiet walks, birdwatching, and fly-fishing right from the doorstep. Guests may indulge in the art of fishing with four fully stocked, catch-and-release trout dams located on the property. Although secluded, the property is just a short drive from Dullstroom’s popular boutique shops, cafés, and restaurants, offering the best of both nature and convenience.
