!Xaus Lodge (pronounced 'kaus') is a full-board wildlife escape surrounded by the vast red dunes of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in the Northern Cape. Established to promote responsible tourism and cultural preservation, the lodge is owned by the ‡Khomani San and Mier communities. The lodge features 12 thatched chalets, each designed to reflect the traditional dwellings of the local communities.
