Out of this world
This is a hidden gem on the wild West Coast. The house itself is beautifully decorated and has an amazing location near the bach. The access to surrounding activities is amazing too.
Bamboesbaai Beach House is a spacious self-catering villa overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in Jacobs Bay, a charming seaside village along the Cape’s unspoiled West Coast. Designed for those seeking both comfort and seclusion, this beautifully appointed retreat blends coastal charm with modern conveniences, offering a tranquil escape just a short drive from Cape Town. With its panoramic sea views, open-plan living spaces, and direct access to the rugged shoreline, Bamboesbaai Beach House is the perfect setting for a restorative getaway.
The house features five bedrooms, accommodating a variety of group sizes. Each bedroom is equipped with bed linens, and the property includes private bathrooms with towels provided. Guests can enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, including a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, oven, dishwasher, toaster, and electric kettle. The living spaces offer separate dining and sitting areas, complemented by a flat-screen TV for entertainment.
Situated near the beach, the house provides easy access to the stunning coastline of Jacobs Bay in the Western Cape. Guests can enjoy the natural beauty of the area, characterised by fynbos and rhinoceros bush, which is abundant with wildlife. Bird enthusiasts can spot buzzards, kites, and eagles, while the coastal waters are frequented by southern right whales and dolphins. The area offers a variety of activities for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers.
The beach is nearby, providing opportunities for beachcombing and relaxation. Cycling and horseback riding are also popular activities in the region. For those interested in exploring further, the blockhouse on Mauritzbaai and Kwaaibaai peninsula offers a spectacular 360-degree view of Jacobs Bay and was historically used for spotting dive boats during the Second World War.
