We had a wonderful stay with family and friends at Guinevere for a birthday celebration weekend. The staff were welcoming and accommodating to all our requests. The rooms are spacious and the beds beautifully comfortable. We spent many hours around the huge fireplace, and also enjoyed walks in area. I highly recommend this lovely spot for a country getaway.

How to get there
Take the N1 outbound from Cape Town
Turn left onto the R44 Wellington/Stellenbosch offramp
Turn left at stop street street towards Wellington
After 22km turn left at robots onto R46 Ceres (Distillery road)
Continue for approximately 40km until you go through the Nuwekloof pass and arrive in the Tulbagh valley. Take your first right at the Tulbagh Weg intersection (Station rd). Proceed for 1 km and turn left (you'll see a red Guinevere sign). Proceed along this road and follow our signs. The rd turns to a gravel rd for approximately 4 km, you will stick to your left and go over a bridge and about 1km after you will see the large Green Guinevere signboard on your left. Turn left and follow the signs all the way to the farm house.
