Guppy Huys Oceanfront Eco Bungalow is a private, three-bedroom self-catering retreat set along the coastline of De Kelders. Designed for guests seeking a relaxed seaside experience, the bungalow offers expansive views of Walker Bay and a comfortable setting for families or small groups. The home accommodates up to six guests across three bedrooms—two with queen-size beds and one with twin beds. The main bedroom includes an en-suite bathroom with a shower, while the second bathroom, shared by the remaining rooms, features both a bath and a shower.
The open-plan living area comprises a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, a dining space, and a lounge with a slow-combustion fireplace. Large windows and sliding doors open onto a spacious deck, providing a seamless indoor-outdoor flow. The outdoor area includes a built-in braai, a wood-fired hot tub, and a fire pit, all set within a fenced garden planted with indigenous fynbos. Eco-conscious features such as solar power with battery backup ensure an uninterrupted stay, free from load-shedding concerns. De Kelders is a quiet and safe community 2 hours from Cape Town Airport. The Marine Big 5 can all be seen within 15 minutes from the Villa.
Stanford, a quaint town known for its small-scale gastronomy is just 10 minutes by car, and there is easy access to the superb wineries of the Hemel en Aarde valley, Stanford Valley and Cape Agulhas.
