VILLAS • Children of all ages are accepted on a per-villa basis. All villas have unfenced pools. • 0 – 2 years: Cots are available at no additional charge. • 2 – 1 2 years: Children can be accommodated on roll-away beds. Extra child bed rate applies. • 6 – 1 2 years: Can be accommodated in the Grange Loft at the per child bed rate. Maximum of 4 beds. The loft has no bathroom. • Please enquire about child-minding, activities, and the best family-stay room configurations at La Clé. GENERAL INFORMATION ROOMS: • The rate is per room / double occupancy. No single rate is available. VILLAS - minimum 2 night stays: • Rates are for the exclusive use of the villa. ROOM / VILLA DESCRIPTIONS • Galerie: Two equal rooms. The rate for 4 adults (no extra child’s bed available). Only available on a villa basis. • Manoir: Two rooms. The rate for 4 adults (annex area, 1 extra child’s bed available). Only available on a villa basis. • Grange: Three Rooms. The rate for 6 adults (loft area, 4 extra single beds available suitable for kids between 6 and 1 2 years of age). • Domain: Three rooms. The rate for 6 adults ( 1 extra child’s bed available). Only available on a villa basis. The fourth roomis available at an additional charge as per the rate sheet. Over the festive season, the villa is sold at a flat rate for all four rooms. • Lodge: Five rooms (2 Garden Rooms, 1 Courtyard Room, and 2 Petite Rooms). The rate for 1 0 adults (no child’s bed available). TERMS AND CONDITIONS: • Rates are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR), include VAT and are subject to change. • A minimum stay requirement of 2 nights applies to all stays during Festive Season. • 20% refundable Commitment Fee required within 14 days of confirmation. • 20% non-refundable Commitment Fee required for bookings in Festive Season (20 December to 10 January). • The balance of payment is due at 45 days prior to the arrival date. • Refundable Commitment Fees and final payments are held in a separate call account until the guest is on property. • Bookings held without a paid Commitment Fee will be considered provisional. Should La Clé des Montagnes receive a new booking request for any of the provisionally booked dates, the agent/client will be notified and have 48 hours to pay the Commitment Fee in order to confirm. In this case, due to the demand on dates and limited inventory, the Commitment Fee will immediately become non-refundable. CANCELLATIONS: • 46 or more days prior to arrival: - 90% refund of Commitment Fee. 10% held for banking costs. - No refund of Commitment Fee that was converted from provisional to confirmed based on demand irrespective of dates. - No refund of Commitement Fee for bookings made in the Festive Season. • 45-30 days prior to arrival: - 50% of full amount due will be charged as a cancellation fee • 29 days or less prior to arrival: - 100% of full amount due will be charged as a cancellation fee • All travellers are advised to take out fully comprehensive travel insurance with CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason). This insurance must be able to fully cover cancellation of travel less than 45 days prior to arrival. • La Clé des Montagnes shall not be responsible for any exchange rate fluctuations and will refund the agreed amount as per our Terms & Conditions in ZAR. ALL BOOKINGS • All amounts paid into the Any Name Property 5007 (PTY) LTD account will be on the full invoice amount with no deduction for bank/credit card fees. • Amounts refunded by the property will be 90%, 10% being withheld to cover banking/transaction fees. • Receipt constitutes the deposit reflecting in our bank account. • For any booking made 45 days or less prior to arrival, full payment is due immediately. • Rates are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR), include VAT and are subject to change. • A minimum stay requirement of 2 nights applies to all stays during Festive Season. • Specific rooms/villas within a category can be requested at the Village or Lodge, however La Clé des Montagnes reserves the right to re-allocate bookings to rooms/villas within the same category as required without prior notice. • The cancellation policy also applies to confirmed bookings that reduce their length of stay. The above cancellation fees will apply on the release night/s. • La Clé des Montagnes reserves the right to review and change rates on a quarterly basis. All rates for bookings already made will be honored and once the updated rates are released all new bookings will be as per the prevailing rate. • Cancellations must be received in writing.
